Eidam Diagnostics Corporation (“Eidam”) has created this privacy
statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to
respecting and protecting individual privacy. The following
discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices
for the www.eidam.com site.
This Privacy Policy and Notice of Information Practices sets
forth Eidam’s practices regarding the collection, use and
disclosure of information that you may provide through this
site. Please read this entire privacy policy before using this
site or submitting information to Eidam through this site.
By using this site and submitting information though the site to
Eidam, you agree with the terms of the Eidam Privacy Policy and
Notice of Information Practices as written below.
This privacy policy is effective as of March 8, 2007.
YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO EIDAM’S PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL
INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY. YOUR
PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE PROCESSED BY EIDAM IN THE COUNTRY
WHERE IT WAS COLLECTED AND IN CANADA. CANADIAN LAWS REGARDING
THE PROCESSING OF INFORMATION MAY BE LESS STRINGENT THAN THE
LAWS IN YOUR COUNTRY.
If you have any questions about this privacy statement, the
practices of this site or your dealings with this site, email
info@eidam.com.
Eidam collects two types of information regarding visitors to
this website:
1. Data that visitors volunteer by signing up to receive Eidam
news, information, press releases, and providing feedback;
2.Aggregated tracking data we collect when visitors interact
with our website.
Eidam only collects personally identifiable data such as your
name, address, telephone number or email address when you
voluntarily submit it to Eidam. This information maybe be used
by Eidam personnel as a means to contact you to obtain more
information, to improve this site, or to possibly provide you
with information that you have requested or for additional
information which Eidam believes may be of interest to you. The
data will not be transferred outside the company without your
prior consent, but may be used within Eidam for processing and
mailing purposes. Eidam may also use this information within the
company for performing marketing studies or for other commercial
purposes for which it may receive compensation. You may always
choose not to provide us with this information; however, this
may limit our ability to provide you with a specific service,
offer you personalized content, or respond to your feedback.
If you are a registered owner or user of the CRT 2000®
Thermographic System, we require your Login and Password
information so that you may receive Customer Support information
and CRT 2000® updates.
Eidam maintains the data collected in an electronic database of
voluntarily submitted personally identifiable information. Eidam
and its agents may exchange such information with each other or
with you over the internet or intranet systems for the purposes
of carrying out the services described above.
While Eidam makes every reasonable effort to protect the
information collected through its websites, please be aware that
there is always some risk involved when submitting data over the
Internet. We cannot guarantee that our website is 100% safe from
illegal tampering or "hacking." Any data transmitted over the
Internet may be at risk; however, once it is received at Eidam
and entered into its database, it has the same protection that
Eidam extends to its own confidential information.
We track the total number of visitors to our website, the number
of visitors to each page of the website, and the domain names of
our visitors' Internet service providers. No personally
identifiable information is gathered in this process.
If at any time you wish to stop receiving emails or other
communications from us, or if you have submitted personally
identifiable information through our website and would like to
have that information deleted from our records, please notify us
at info@eidam.com. You may
also request access to personal data about you that Eidam holds
and you may have the opportunity to request a correction or
amendment to your personal data. As a reminder to you when
exchanging emails, any email that you send or receive on your
employer's email system may be the property of your employer.
Consequently, your employer has the ability to review your
personal information sent via email.
Our site currently contains links to a number of other
(non-Eidam) websites that we believe may offer useful
information. The privacy policy here does not apply to those
sites. Contact these sites directly for information on their
privacy policies, confidentiality agreements and data
collection/distribution procedures.
Our website uses a technology called "non-persistent cookies,"
which is a small data file that a server gives to your browser
when you access a website in order to let you access the pages
you request and to track the pages visited. The unique user ID
contained within your cookie automatically identifies your
computer — but not you — to our servers every time you visit our
site. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the
identity of any user. Using non-persistent cookies to track page
visits helps us analyze our site usage more accurately. You can
turn the cookies feature off by using your browser's preference
options, but you may not be able to utilize some services
properly.
In Eidam sites that require passwords, you are giving us
explicit permission to use a "persistent cookie," which is a
small data file that is generated when you enter your assigned
user id and password and access the site. This file is stored on
your computer, and enables your browser to access each page that
is in the password-protected area. Please note that linked
non-Eidam sites may also use cookies. Eidam cannot control the
use of cookies by these non-Eidam sites. We also want you to
know that when you link from a Eidam website to another website,
that site may have the ability to recognize that you have come
from a Eidam site. If you do not want any other websites to know
that you have been on this website, we recommend that you do not
use the links provided in our site.
We use reasonable security procedures and measures to protect
the personal information you share with us from unauthorized
access, use, or disclosure.
Our website is not directed at or intended for minors. We do not
wish to receive, nor do we knowingly collect, personal
information from minors through this website.
Although your privacy is very important to us, due to the
existing legal, regulatory, technical, and security environment,
we cannot fully ensure, nor do we represent or warrant, that
your private communications and other personal information will
not be disclosed to third parties. For example, we may be
required to disclose your personal information to the government
or other third parties under certain circumstances, or third
parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or
private communications. Additionally, in the unlikely event we
need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries,
we can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about
you (including personal information) to private entities, law
enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole
discretion, believe necessary or appropriate. In all instances,
we will cooperate fully when required by law to provide
information regarding visitors.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify,
update, add or remove any portion of this privacy policy in
whole or in part, at any time. If this privacy policy is changed
by us we will notify you by posting the date of the change in
the current privacy policy on this web site. Any changes in this
privacy policy will be effective when such changes are posted to
this web site. Your continued use of this web site after any
changes to this privacy policy are posted will be considered
acceptance of those changes.
This privacy policy was last updated March 8, 2007.
